Derek is a professional Mechanical Engineer with 30 years of experience in developing and implementing industrial automation solutions for many global brands. He stays at the forefront of trends in mechatronics, including collaborative robotics, warehouse automation, emerging safety standards, fabrication and integration management.

Ray Lakeman
After completing his training as an Electrician, Ray shifted his attention to sound engineering and production work in the music and live performance industry.
Leveraging a strong background in electrical and electronics, Ray entered the world of network, systems and communications engineering, establishing his own consultancy DSIA, delivering communications and control solutions for clients across the world.
Providing leadership in electrical and control installations, Ray’s finely developed skills in fault investigation and solution development bring a balance of practicable, technical and professional capability to the Aidaptive team in this field.

Tracy Lumsden
As an experienced GM in the consulting engineering, technology and theme park attractions industries, Tracy provides project management and administration services for our clients. If “getting it done” is required for your project, Aidaptive can make it happen.
With certifications in business administration and project management; managing projects to a scope, a schedule and a budget, are her areas of strength.

Hayden Lyon-Jones
Hayden is a Mechanical Engineer and trade-qualified Fitter & Turner with nearly a decade of experience in the attractions and entertainment industry. He began his career as an Attractions Attendant before completing a Fitter & Turner apprenticeship and earning a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Honours). This progression has provided him with a unique combination of operational, maintenance and engineering experience, along with a strong understanding of asset reliability, project delivery and engineering best practice.
Hayden has a particular interest in the integration of mechanical and control systems, combining hands-on trade experience with engineering analysis and project management to develop innovative, reliable and cost-effective solutions for clients.
