Clinton is the Director of Aidaptive Consulting, a specialist professional engineering services provider to the theme park and attractions industry. Working with business owners, leadership teams, Government /Industry Regulators, and key decision makers, he brings about change in; safety, compliance, quality, performance, and asset management.
A specialist engineer, Clinton’s focus has been with the leadership and delivery of Major Inspections and Annual Inspection programs for big theme parks and attraction operators, Design Registration, Due Diligence inspections/assessment for asset purchase, and the development of asset inspection programs that integrate with client safety management system. Leveraging his strong field experience, he has worked as an expert witness for a variety of amusement device incidents, including Dreamworld, where he was the head engineer, overseeing its reopening and safety clearance following the 2016 fatalities.
Clinton is one of Australia’s most experienced amusement device inspectors. His work is used as; the industry benchmark by Regulators, insurers for loss control and client confidence, design registration for business growth, due diligence studies to facilitate asset sale and forward planning of capital expenditure and the development of asset inspection programs that integrate with client safety management systems.
Entering the theme parks and attractions industry in 2016 with a recognized engineering consultancy, he has gone on to establish his own company – Aidaptive Consulting and support amusement device owners and other premier amusement and attractions engineering/safety consultants. He is Australia’s only NAARSO trained inspector.
