Annual Inspections
Amusement device Annual Inspections (registered plant) are required in all states of Australia and are written into the WHS Regulations of each state, territory, and the OHS Regulations of Victoria.
With Aidaptive’s Engineers, Technicians and associates, we provide inspection services in accordance with the various state regulatory requirements. From inspecting a device, to managing necessary compliance Corrective Actions, Aidaptive can manage and conduct the Annual Inspection process across all your devices and attractions.
State requirements for Amusement device Annual Inspections:

| Queensland | Competent Person – RPEQ (with qualification, experience, knowledge) to inspect the type of plant. Inflatable devices: (platform heights <9m), a competent person (skills, training, qualification or experience) to inspect this type of device. |
| New South Wales | Competent person (Professional Engineer) Electrical inspection by a registered electrician – Class 2 & 3 devices Class 4 & 5 devices with electrical control systems must have an Electrical Engineer inspection |
| Victoria | Competent Person (independent) with training, qualification or experience, knowledge and relevant technical skills Check your requirements with you insurer – it may differ. |
| ACT | Competent Person – Professional Engineer Electrical inspection by a person who is qualified, to inspect electrical installations. |
| Tasmania | Competent Person – Professional Engineer Electrical inspection by a person who is qualified, to inspect electrical installations. |
| Northern Territory | Competent Person – Professional Engineer Electrical inspection by a person who is qualified, to inspect electrical installations. |
| South Australia | Competent Person (independent) with training, qualification or experience, knowledge and relevant technical skills Check your requirements with you insurer – it may differ. |

Annualised Inspection – Is this right for you?
