Wireless control technology has improved hire karting safety through the moderation of driver behaviour and kart alteration based on driver capability. Design Review / Registration
Aidaptive Consulting is well practiced in the process of preparing and managing the Design review & Registration process for a new kart and track.
Aidaptive has conducted design reviews on all of Sodi’s award winning rental karts, OTK, Birel ART, Parolin, Ricardo and some more obscure brands.
Our experience across such a wide variety of karts makes us the most informed, practicable and beneficially critical design review engineers for rental karts in Australia. We work with both ICE (petrol) and electric karts on outdoor and indoor circuits.
Whether you are setting up a new track, purchasing different karts for an existing circuit, bringing an older facility up to compliance or wanting to reduce insurance premiums, Aidaptive Consulting can assist.

Plant Registration
Registration of tracks and/or karts, Aidaptive has the experience and the entire documentation packages required. We understand the risks particular to your circuit and develop controls and documentation appropriately.
Consistent with the Desing Registration process, wo can provide key information or manage the entire project and application negotiations on your behalf.
Annual Inspection
Our Annual Inspection service (Plant Registration renewal) addresses both the track and karts. One inspection is required per kart model – each being a different design and plant registration.
We review all aspects of track condition, track control, driver safety, kart condition, maintenance, driver briefing, training and documentation.
Our expertise is with indoor and outdoor circuits and our experience base includes working with overseas circuits and engineers to keep consistent with current trends.
Major Inspection
Kart tracks, just like other amusement devices require a 10 year major Inspection.
Aidaptive is the only consulting engineering group that have developed and prepared Major Inspections for kart tracks. Our way of thinking finds blind spots and sleeper issues, as well as making pragmatic assessments of potentially required upgrades to meet with contemporary safety controls.

Aidaptive in conjunction with one of its technology partners, is currently developing a karting specific battery solution, replacing the common lead acid and absorbed glass mat (AGM) with a comprehensively monitored and controlled lithium iron phosphate solution. Not only being safer than the lithium ion alternative, the control over battery activity gives greater life span and sustained performance – cost savings, environment impact reduction, happier patrons and increased profit potential.
